Technological Slavery - Theodore J. Kaczynski

Feral House publisher Adam Parfrey has carried on a five-year correspondence with Theodore Kaczynski at U.S. Penitentiary Max in Florence, Colorado, which resulted in the publication of his complete and authorized writings, including his correspondence with Parfrey and professor David Skrbina. Kaczysnki's book is an apocalyptic guide to revolutionary conduct in order to save life on earth from the destructive regress of technology. In his Introduction, Kaczynski boils down the four main points he makes in his writings: 1. Technological progress is carrying us to inevitable disaster. 2. Only the collapse of modern technological civilization can avert disaster. 3. The political left is technological society’s first line of defense against revolution. 4. What is needed is a new revolutionary movement, dedicated to the elimination of technological society, that will take measures to exclude all leftists, as well as the assorted neurotics, lazies, incompetents, charlatans, and persons deficient in self-control who are drawn to resistance movements in America today. This book is published with the cooperation of Swiss publisher Xenia, who is releasing the French edition.
