You are time travel agents of TIME, an organization in the service of humanity. Time travels have become reality and Time monitors these journeys and ensures their proper execution. This is a task of immense size and importance. It is about nothing less than the preservation and stability of the timeline - otherwise the whole mankind threatens destruction. Failure is not an option. Time sends its agents through time by transferring their awareness from their own body to so-called hosts. As a result, the agents take over the body, memories and knowledge of people who live in the respective period of time. This tried and tested method reduces the risk of causing disorders or even paradoxa and protects the health of agents. After recent events, TIME was forced to introduce a new method of travel through time. It is based on the latest technologies of the 22nd century, combining these with strange esoteric techniques passed down by the mysterious Syaans. The agents are given an amazing substance called Azrak. It strengthens the connection between the agent and the host to a large and possibly permanent extent. This allows for longer stays at the destination. However, TIME cannot produce as much Azrak as desired - and not all the properties of this foreign substance are known.
