Characteristics:

The product is designed using the AD8317 chip to detect the strength of the RF signal.

It can detect the power in the range of -55dBm to 0dBm of the RF signal, so that the RF signal is converted to a DC voltage output.

The greater the amplitude or power of the RF signal, the higher the output voltage, and the output voltage is directly proportional to the log amplitude of the input signal, thus extending the dynamic range of the detected signal, which reaches 55 dB.

It can be widely used in detecting radio frequency signal, measuring signal strength, detecting ambient field strength.

It can also be used as part of Automatic Gain Control and Automatic Level Control.

Application: control of the PA setting of the RF transmitter and level monitoring; Power monitoring in a radio link transmitter; RSSI measurements at base stations, WLAN, WiMAX and radar
