Dell Poweredge R940 is a server in a 3U Rack enclosure, available in various disk variants – it holds from 8 to 24 2.5″ SAS/SATA drives, optionally up to 12 NVMe U.2 drives.

Four sockets accommodate Intel Xeon Scalable I and II generation Gold and Platinum processors, up to 28 cores per processor, and 48 slots on DDR4 ECC REG RAM allow you to expand up to 6TB of RAM.

SAS, SATA, SSD and NVMe drives can be used. 12Gbps SAS RAID controllers are available.

Remote management is carried out via the iDRAC controller, and the continuity of power supply is ensured by two redundant power supplies with a power of 1600 Watt.
