The 3M 6059 filter is a combination filter for individual respiratory protection products, protecting against organic, inorganic and acidic gases, as well as ammonia and its derivatives. It is used in half masks and masks of the 3M series (e.g. 6000, 6500, 7000 and 7500).

Description and purpose

The 3M 6059 filter (type ABEK1) is designed to protect:

organic fumes (e.g. dividers, paints, varnishes);

inorganic gases (e.g. chlorine, hydrogen sulfide);

gaseous (e.g. hydrogen sulphide or hydrochloride);

ammonia and its derivatives.

It is applicable wherever there are mixtures of various harmful substances in the air, and one type of filter is insufficient.
