ШАГАЙТЕ НАЛЕВО!: "Когда святые идут маршем"

“Oh, when the Saints go marching in, when the Saints go marching in, Oh Lord, I want to be in thatnumber, when the Saints go marching in…” My favorite high school activity was marching with the Los Baños “Tiger” Marching Band of Los Baños, California! WOW, the parades, the band reviews, field shows, and all the great people I had the pleasure of interacting with! Now, as an adult, over 30 plus years later, I reflect on the enjoyable experience it was, and I am honored to give a tribute to those who were so blessed and musically inclined to make it all happen. As a Born-Again Christian, I have come to realize the valuable lessons and insight I have gained from that exciting, ‘Back in the day’ experience. I now recognize the relevance of “Music” and the concept of “Marching” in most of our lives. I have found that both “MUSIC and MARCHING” correspond metaphorically with a Christian lifestyle, and I am so thankful to have had this opportunity to write about it! In Christian circles, we have for a long time sung the lyrics of songs that remind us of that‘Great and Notable’ Day to come, when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ shall return for us. That time is soon. Let’s get in formation (Gather in righteousness), come to attention (All eyes on Jesus), as we prepare to MARCH FORWARD (go back with Jesus)! STEP OUT ON YOUR LEFT!
