Мой друг, грибок на линзе: Фотография с дефектными линзами

Recently, I saw a Meyer Primotar lens with 135mm focal length at an auction house in the hideous Alfeld in Lower Saxony.Meyer Optik Görlitz was a rather low-ranking manufacturer in the former German Democratic Republic, distinguished by optical productions that were once considered mediocre. Those who could not afford Zeiss Jena had to buy Meyer.Just as the GDR was rather inferior among the democracies of the world, the Meyer lenses among the lenses of the world. The problem was not a fundamentally bad optical idea. Problem was extreme specimen scatter.I had a Praktica nova with the infamous Meyer Domiplan 50 f2,8- when I was young. A colleague of mine, a physicist who loved to measure lenses, also had a Domiplan, which was better than a Leica Summicron. The physicist is dead today. The Domiplan is still alive. In 2023, when the Federal Republic of Germany is more than inferior as a democracy, Meyer lenses have a good standing.Today, when mediocrity regularly becomes a cult, Meyer lenses are highly traded. My lens had a heavy infestation of glass fungus, but was reasonably priced. I acquired it and ran it on two cheap M42 bodies as a closed system. The results were pleasing. Beautiful bokeh and a pleasant softness.I will keep the lens. And continue to grow the glass mushroom.Lens: Meyer Optics Görlitz PrimotarBodies: Ricoh TLS 401 and Praktica novaFilms: Fomapan 400 and Kentmere 100Laboratory: Foto-Weckbrodt, HannoverPhotography: Rainer StrzolkaThe photographs were taken in Hannover and the Lüneburger Heide. The project will be continued. Please visit us also on the Internetwww.galerie-fuer-kulturkommunikation.de
