These are not the stories as they were originally written. If you want to read the stories as originally conceived, buy the novel. This is a readers theatre edition, meaning that the stories have all been modified to be performed as readers theatre. While a few can be read with three performers, assume that you'll need four performers for most stories. Some performance rights are included with purchase of enough scripts for your production. All stories can be performed on stools and with stands. Tech demands are minimal at best; all sound and lighting cues are optional, though recommended.
