Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Dorothy who lived in a small town in Kansas. Dorothy was upset and didn't understand the meaning of Christmas. She stayed home from a Christmas gathering because she was upset that she wouldn't get a present. Suddenly, a blizzard hit, and Dorothy was blown back in time to Israel. Instead of a yellow brick road, Dorothy finds herself following a sandy brick road, where she runs into the shepherds, wise men, and the three kings. The play is narrated by Glinda and Oz, who watch over Dorothy's journey. Dorothy traveled to Bethlehem to find her way back home, where she was told there would be a new king with all the answers. She found a baby in the manger and heard from an angel the message of the new king. Dorothy learned the true meaning of Christmas and was grateful for her journey. The angel sent her back home, and she was filled with joy and love for the holiday season.
