Я и Маг: Инструкции по настоящей магии: Том 1

Myself & The Magician provides a new look at the art of performing magic, aimed at both the experienced magician looking for a new lens with which to view their art, or the curious layperson interested into peeking into a new world. This book features several brand new magical compositions from the mind of Andrew Boyd. There are also some new handlings of old routines, giving them a fresh breath of life.Andrew also takes a look at the philosophy of what it means to perform real magic, an impossible task, that magicians somehow do anyway. The key offering of this book is the suggestion of a new model for structuring magic, called Myself & The Magician. This model is applied throughout multiple of the routines in the book. The book generally emphasises simple deceptions executed well, over clever mechanics, though in the final routine of the book, "Heart of a Texan," Andrew offers an entirely novel method for a Texas Hold'em gambling demonstration.
