ОД'A / CAMP Lab: Портфолио 2026 - Английский / Китайский

Places preserve a complex memory, shaped by stratifications, relationships, and identities. Every architectural work is the result of an accumulation of stories that, like a palimpsest, have settled over time. The project thus becomes, first and foremost, a tool of knowledge: a means to read, interpret, and restore value to the traces of the past, revealing their specific characteristics and deeper meaning.ODA / CAMP LAB emerges from an approach that places the built reality and the indissoluble bond between places and the people who inhabit them at its core. Historical testimonies and the material and immaterial signs of time become an active part of the design process: what may appear as abstract constraints are virtuously transformed into inspiration and the origin of new narratives.Working on the existing means operating through knowledge: the study of historical documents, architectural surveys, material mapping using advanced digital tools, and the analysis and representation of decay. This path leads to restoration and adaptive reuse, securing memory while making the intervention contemporary and capable of giving new life to buildings.
