Описание

Modern physics describes the behavior of light, electricity, magnetism, and gravity with extraordinary mathematical precision. Yet a fundamental question often remains unanswered: What physical mechanism underlies these phenomena? In conventional descriptions, space is frequently treated as empty, while forces and fields act across it according to mathematical laws. This book explores a different possibility: that space itself is a physical substrate capable of sustaining disturbances and stable structures. Within this framework, matter is not something placed into space. Instead, particles may represent stable configurations of the substrate. Electric charge corresponds to different orientations of these structures, producing pressure patterns in the surrounding medium. These pressure patterns generate the attraction and repulsion observed in electrical forces. When the disturbances of charged structures change with time, the substrate responds dynamically, producing propagating oscillations. These oscillations travel through the medium as electromagnetic waves. Light therefore appears as a natural disturbance of the substrate of space. The constant speed of light reflects the fundamental response speed of this medium, determined by its intrinsic properties. Different wavelengths correspond to different oscillatory modes of the same underlying substrate. Under sufficiently intense conditions, disturbances of the substrate can reorganize into stable structures. In this way radiation can transform into matter, revealing that particles and waves may represent different states of the same medium. Seen from this perspective, many apparently separate phenomena—electric charge, electromagnetic radiation, the dual nature of light, and even gravitational effects—may ultimately arise from the behavior of a single underlying physical substrate. The aim of this book is to explore this possibility and to examine how many familiar laws of physics may emerge naturally from the properties of that deeper medium.
