ЭКОЦЕНА: Устойчивые стили жизни, вдохновленные живыми организмами

Can we face the climate crisis and its impact on both the planet and our species by laying the foundation for a new era beyond the Anthropocene? Of course, yes. We can become the generation that initiates a new era, the Ecocene; a time when the well-being of individuals, societies and the biosphere are interlinked and move forward together, in harmony. This book is a collection of accessible insights drawn from the fields of biology and psychology, accompanied by easy outdoors exercises designed to inspire a renewed sense of affiliation between humans and the natural world. One of the key principles is that there is absolutely no need to reconnect with nature, we are already connected, as living beings on Earth. What we truly need is to remember this connection, to rediscover our belonging to the biosphere, something we have forgotten, to the point of convincing ourselves that we are somehow separated. In Ecocene we will embark on a journey that moves between the natural sciences and the human mind, and in the space between these two worlds, we will discover how the principles and concepts of ecology are deeply relevant to our personal lives. These ideas can inspire individual, community and social learning and growth pathways rooted in our planet's life.We will explore models and theories ranging from the Ecological Panarchy to biosemiotics, and each chapter will refer to the series individual outdoors exercises, rooted on ecopsychology, designed to strengthen both personal and ecological learning, growth and development. Because sustainability and regeneration begins first and foremost within each one of us, as the beginning of a new era.
