What makes Shakespeare “Shakespeare”? The books contain many lines from the plays and are organized into subjects we are all familiar with. Volume 3 covers Shakespeare’s Romances and Problem Plays: The series also contains advice on how to gain an appreciation for his plays to those who are new to Shakespeare’s works or intimidated by him simply because he is “Shakespeare.” Although he is considered one of the greatest playwrights in the English language, Shakespeare is not the enigmatic, unreachable star we had to study in school. His words can be understood and enjoyed by all.
