Рико находит свой ритм

It’s not easy going back to school or picking up the mic again after you’ve been punched in the face. It’s 1993 and the fresh sounds of hip-hop rise from the streets of multicultural London. Portuguese immigrant kid and talented lyricist Rico de Freitas should be riding this wave, but his academic wit doesn’t fit easily with the gangsta rap vibes around him. He has the poetry, but not the posturing; the bants, but not the bravado. When Rico unexpectedly falls in with the Latin Links crew, the opportunity to be heard presents itself with seductive undertones of street cred and violence. A dangerous world opens up just as he falls for Gemma, the daughter of his mum’s wealthy boss. Rico must decide between being all in with the Links crew or following the higher path of wisdom laid out for him at the One Love record shop.
