ДРУГ ЕВАНГЕЛИЯ: Сохраняя Золотой Век Черной Госпел Музыки

Gospel Friend Records is a Sweden-based label specializing in reissues of vintage black gospel music. It focuses on rare recordings from the 1940s-1970s, featuring artists like The Wings Over Jordan. The Famous Ward Singers, and Elder Charles Beck. In this book some of the biggest gospel stars through the times are presented, along with the less well-known names. We meet singers, composers and musicians such as The Georgia Peach, Prof. Alex Bradford, The Pilgrim Travelers, The Dixie Hummingbirds, among others. “It’s so great – like all the Gospel Friend releases. They are a real treasure house.” – Peter Guralnick (author of ”I Feel Like Going Home’’, ”Looking To Get Lost - Adventures In Music and Writing”, and other works) “Per provides a huge service in making available previously hidden parts of gospel’s rich recorded heritage.” – John Broven (author of ’Walking To New Orleans’ and ’Record Makers and Breakers’)
