ФУТУРИЗАЦИЯ ЦИВИЛИЗАЦИИ: Аудит морального интеллекта глобальной нефтегазовой отрасли

The Moral Quotient of Oil and Gas is a rigorous, multidimensional moral audit of the industry that powers modern civilization. Oil and gas are not just resources—they are the lifeblood of global economies, transportation systems, healthcare infrastructure, and food production. Yet they are also at the center of some of the most urgent moral challenges of our time: climate change, environmental degradation, geopolitical conflict, corporate influence, and global inequality. This book does not offer slogans or simplistic judgments. It offers something far more necessary—a structured, evidence-based framework for evaluating the oil and gas industry through the lens of moral intelligence. Using Brian C. Alston’s groundbreaking frameworks—Multidimensional Moral Intelligence, the Moral Quotient (MQ), and Moral Math—this volume measures the industry across key dimensions including awareness, empathy, integrity, courage, justice, stewardship, transparency, and accountability. Inside this book, you will: • Trace the full moral history of oil and gas—from early extraction to modern geopolitical power• Understand how the global energy system actually works across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations• Analyze the industry through seven dimensions of moral intelligence• Examine a full Moral Quotient (MQ) scorecard of the global oil and gas system• Apply Moral Math to real-world impacts including climate change, pollution, economic dependence, and energy access• Study in-depth case studies including Deepwater Horizon, the Niger Delta, Exxon Valdez, and global energy geopolitics• Explore the ethical tensions between development, energy security, and environmental responsibility• Identify both the moral failures and the strategic opportunities shaping the future of energy
